Why is Online Safety Important?
The internet is an amazing place to learn and have fun — but just like crossing the road, you need to follow some important safety rules to stay protected!
🚨 The Golden Rules
- 🏠 Never share personal info — Don't give out your home address, phone number, school name, or full name to strangers online.
- 🔑 Use strong passwords — Mix letters, numbers, and symbols. Never share your password with anyone except a parent or guardian.
- 🤔 Think before you click — Don't click strange links or download unknown files. They might contain viruses!
- 👨👩👧 Tell a trusted adult — If anything online makes you feel scared, uncomfortable, or confused, always tell a parent or teacher right away.
- 🎭 Not everyone is who they say they are — Online strangers may pretend to be someone they're not.
What is a Strong Password?
A strong password should be:
- At least 8 characters long.
- A mix of UPPERCASE and lowercase letters.
- Include numbers (like 3, 7, 9).
- Include special characters (like @, !, #).
✅ Good password:Blue5ky!Jump
❌ Bad password:password123
