CSS Transitions
Forge intensely fluid, hyper-smooth mechanical movements bridging variable mutations seamlessly.
If an architectural element randomly jumps fundamentally from width: 100px to width: 300px the absolute moment a user hovers over it, the UI execution feels incredibly jagged, clunky, and utterly unpolished. CSS Transitions heavily interpolate these absolute values mathematically perfectly generating smooth interpolations!
The Engine Mechanics
To engage a fluid transition sequence, you explicitly establish TWO distinct requirements completely:
- The explicit property you fundamentally demand to animate (e.g.
width,background-color, orall). - The absolute timeframe vector dictating completely how long the mutation executes.
Timing Modifiers
If you desire a robotic rigid visual effect, utilize linear. If you desire an incredibly smooth, deeply organic glide, specify ease-in-out. You can even inject a trailing delay property string locking the animation up until a designated countdown perfectly finishes!
